Onward!
Yep, still working on it although I had a pipe break in our greenhouse late yesterday that needs to be fixed soon.
Turns out the breakers I had were fine (I had thought so), but the breaker box had a broken part where the breakers mount and that's why I couldn't get them to work. Got the box exchanged and reinstalled, with the breakers installed.
I also installed all of the outlet boxes and located the outlets and covers nearby (still need 2 outlets).
Got some more 1x4 and built 6 more l-girders, installing one on the west wall.
Next step: Start running the wire to the various locations; cut and install backdrop materials (1/8 inch masonite), then build and install the main benchwork supports to the l-girders.
This will give me about half of the lower level. I've decided to have the lower level at 48 inches. This gives me plenty of room underneath for storage (I have roll-around containers with magazines and will be doing the same with other items.)
This will make the main turntable at Albany 56 inches with the high spot of the layout at Idanha about 65 inches. Most of the lower level is just that, level, so I don't have a lot of elevations to worry about initially.
