Some Real Progress

Finally! I’ve been cleaning out the area designated for the layout of things not train-related and only have a mower and trimmer there now. They’ll be moved once I’m ready to seal the floor.

Today, I tested some LED lighting using 5050 LEDs in a 5 meter (about 16 feet) length. I temporarily attached the string to a set of 1x2s screwed to the rafters. I unhooked the existing lights and plugged in the LED transformer. The results were very promising, especially considering I only had 1 string stretched out. I expect to have 2 or more strings in some areas. See the LED Lighting photo to view the results.
