The Design is Almost Underway!

Well, I finally forced myself to realize that I can’t design a layout to meet my expectations in the space available. So, I’ve contracted the design effort to Byron Henderson of San Jose, CA. We will be working to get a usable design by approximately mid-2010. I will publish updates to the design as they become available, including more details as to what is being included and what got left behind.As to the heating of the shop, I’m going to be stuck with using some wall-mounted infrared heaters and a kerosene floor heater to add warmth to the space. There is no chance of adding more electrical capacity in my lifetime. :(This also impacts any air conditioning capability. I’m going to have to get by using one or more fans to move the air around and simulate AC.Oh well, I’d rather spend my money on the layout than on the amenities. :)
